Board of Management

OFFICERS OF THE FUND
The following persons shall be elected or invited to accept office:

The Chair of the Fund will be elected at the Annual General Meeting to serve for a period of three years.

The Vice Chair of the Fund will be elected at the Annual General Meeting to serve for a period of three years.

The Treasurer will be appointed by the Council at the first council meeting following an AGM.

The Secretary will be appointed by the Council at the first council meeting following an AGM.

The government and management of the Fund will be entrusted in the Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and Regional Representatives, together with any person or persons appointed under Clause 9 & 12 (i.e. Honorary Life President) of whom three will form a quorum and will be known as the Council in accordance with Rule 6.

THE COUNCIL
The management of the FUND is vested in the Council of Management whose powers and duties are more especially provided in the FUND’s Constitution.
In accordance with the FUND’s Constitution, the President was elected three years ago and is therefore due for election this year. The Chairman and the Vice-Chairman were elected at last years AGM and have a further two years in office.

TRUSTEES
The above “Named” persons assembled together, form the current Council of Management and as such are the present Trustees of the Fund.

Harry Reed from Durham, remains a designated regional helper, but due to personal circumstances is no longer a serving Trustee.

BECOMING A TRUSTEE
The Fund is always looking for new and willing Trustees. If you would like to join us you would be most welcome. Please indicate your interest to the Secretary, who will then submit your name(s) at the next AGM.

FORMER TRUSTEES
We would like to formally place on record of grateful thanks to the former Trustees who both supported and guided the Fund in its early and formative stages which helped to create the established charity we are now recognised as being today.
