Fundraising
We couldn't go on without the help of people like you
For the ASBF to expand there is the need for continual fund raising and we would encourage you to make a
donation, hold a fund raising event or join our 'Give As You Earn' scheme to support this vital work. Many
grateful claimants tell us that they never thought it would ever happen to them which highlight's the
importance of giving today, it might be you needing our help tomorrow!
There is a direct link between what we receive financially and what we can pay out.

THANK YOU HAYDN
Haydn Parry the Secretary of the North Wales Retired Ambulance Personnel Association recently celebrated his
Ruby Wedding Anniversary. He very generously asked all those who wanted to give him a gift to mark this milestone of his life to make a donation to the ASBF instead. As a result of this selfless act of kindness £130.00 was donated to
YOUR CHARITY.
Thank you again Haydn.

EUROPEAN LATE MODEL SERIES
Paramedic Paul Bowman works for East Midlands Ambulance Service, and no this is not the vehicle he
uses on
duty, but it is a picture of his Ascar racing car which he has had re-painted so that as well
as enjoying
his passion for the sport of Ascar Racing he is simultaneously promoting the ASBF.
You can see more
about this type of racing, the cars that are used and some of the people who
take part in it if you
click on the logos on either side of the picture of the car. You can also see a
report on Paul
and his recent involvement in races at Lydden Hill Kent and at Warneton in
Belgium by
clicking on the picture of the car below.

Paul's imaginative idea of actively support the ASBF by promoting it through his cars livery is
a
fantastic gesture on his part. These cars travel at about 160 miles an hour so I hope the spectators
can read what's on the car as he goes past in pole position.
Can you beat Paul's idea in supporting the ASBF and thereby your colleagues - you'll have
to move fast to do so?
Pauls activity has now come to the notice of the press click on the image below to read the report.
